Yes its kind of confusing but we can look at Madara and see through his plans via his ambition.
I mean Madara is a person that would most likely need and demand full control. He wouldn't be satisfied with anything other than that.

I am wondering about that. S/T is a special jutsu and not a doujutsu so it wouldn't be something shared with the other paths.

| Evening Everyone,
Yep I know chakra rods allow Negato to control the dead bodies and act through them, akin to advanced puppetry.
Could Negato definitely use the powers of all seven paths? Not sure I know he could use multiple elements, summon gedo mazou and resurrect the recently dead.
My idea stems from something madara said in chapter 510 page 16. "You are the 3rd of the 6 paths"
What does he mean by this? I think he has been harvesting the eyes from the other paths and Negato's are the 3rd set he's found. In order to give his new 6 paths and himself Rinnegans all he needed were 3 pairs and a spare, 7 eyes in total.

Why madara is not using rods is bcoz he is using sharingan to control them and by the help of rinnegan he is able to control six of them.

Chakra rods were used to move parts of the Dead bodies, but here the Revived Jinchurikis can move their body parts of their own free will
