"As the day started and the sun rose up to awaken all creation Date decided that it will be the ideal time to begin the hunt of Nagishima as he was instructed by his Hokage. He realized the the objective was to hunt down and capture the target alive by any means necessary and for that purpose he was determined to do anything."
Its time to head towards the Forbidden Forest and track down Nagishima from there. "Date thought as he was picking up his backpack and stared at the gates of Konoha"
"The time passed on and soon noon came upon and Date was already in place within the Forest. As Date progressed within the Forest he realized the a strange anomaly on the surface was making him unease. He gently placed his hand above the grass and realized that the area was filled with traps. In a quick realization Date said":
Since he is taijutsu user mainly he probably has placed traps to decrease the mobility of the people that want to capture him and then take them out.
"Date exhaled and calmed his conscious mind and started thinking about the situation." For him to have set the traps here must mean that he is close to observe so perhaps a diversion will do the trick."

As he was ready to observe the target from his location he realizes with a frightened look that there is nothing there and at that precise moment Date emerges from the grass underground wielding a kunai and he runs towards Nagishima from his blind spot."
"As Nagishima tries to parry the attack the kunai makes a small cut on his back. Nagishima somersaults and lands on his own entrapment area."
"Date smiles in content as he sees that everything goes as planned"
"Nagishima notices that Date is smiling and quickly is infuriated by that action and shouts": You think just because you survived that attack that I will fall down before you?
"Nagishima with a swift move retrieves a kunai from the ground and runs towards Date and at the same time Date runs towards Nagishima and as the clash sparks resonate from the impact. Date uses the force of the impact as leverage to jump above Nagishima and land behind him. Nagishima sees the opportunity and parries the attack by turning his posture 180 degrees to the left."
"Nagishima then realizes that Date is still smiling and shouts once again:" I will make sure to erase that expression of content from your face.
" And as he says that Date immediately retracts and says to Nagishima": This fight ended the very moment that you lowered your guard and entered your area.
"At the same time as Date speaks his words Nagishima starts flickering and falls on his knees and with an expression of terror and surprise says to Date": What is this what have you done to me?
"Date in a swift move places his kunai in front of him and as he does that a purple substance drips from its edge."

I knew that a hand on hand combat would be difficult to be avoided and in such a case I risked the danger of killing you and since my orders were to capture you alive I had to use a method such as this one. "Date said with a content expression as he walked towards Nagishima and used the ropes from his backpack to restrain him. As the end of the day came and the night fell Date entered the gates of Konoha with Nagishima on his back and upon entering he witnesses several shadows emerging."
I see so the Anbu were the ones behind the retrieval. I assume that you wanted him alive to obtain more infos. "The Anbu members remained silent as Date spouted the facts"
Well I guess this is the end of my involvement. "Date places Nagishima to the ground and the Anbu swiftly teleport on top of him and reverse summon him and themselves."
Indeed today was one of those strange days. "Date said with an expression of relief as he was watching the moon in its fullest."
